BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

Our parents panel was a great success. Since we ran out of time and have more to discuss, we are working on scheduling a follow up session in January. More details later!

Additional Prayer Requests

Please keep Tina and Mike (Gannon) on the prayer list. Tina wrote to me this week saying that they are "back to square one or worse, square zero."

Tim's parents, Don & Ruby Hannah. The Beardains were their best friends for 40+ years (talk on the phone every day kinda friends). Don has several health issues. He has been having mini strokes and I believe, based on the way he was acting at the memorial service, that he had one on the way to the church building Sunday afternoon. He can't walk well and stumbles/falls frequently. Tim's mom is recovering from a broke foot.

Also a friend of mine, Mark, has a blind-deaf-handicapped daughter, Abby. Having seizures is not uncommon but she has been having them more frequently lately and just like Anna Grace (Ann & Robert Smith's granddaughter) the Dr's have no answers. (Not sure if you know, but Anna Grace did have another seizure about a week or so ago.

He is not breathing on his own, his kidney’s have totally shut down, the repair surgeries for his Renal Cancer have broken down and he has gotten septic. They expect him to pass within the next 12 – 36 hours. Ed’s dad will be devastated, as you can imagine. He has a wife, Ginger; a daughter Ed’s age, Carrie; and a son, Phillip.
We anticipate his funeral being the first part of next week.
Ed will be going to Little Rock tomorrow afternoon and the girls and I will go sometime over the weekend and for the funeral next week.
Pray for everyone that will be traveling as Carrie’s husband and children are in Reno, NV (she has been in Little Rock since Sat.) and we will be going back and forth...

Craig & Merschon Hutson...Ireland Support

We want to thank you for all your advocacy, encouragement and prayer on behalf of our upcoming mission to Dublin, Ireland. God has brought us to an exciting moment in our preparations and we are almost ready to move to Dublin!

The sale of our home should be completed soon and we are now finalizing our travel and relocation arrangements in hopes of a mid-August departure for Ireland. On Sunday, July 11th, we shared a wonderful covenant service with our sending congregation, the University Church of Christ in Tuscaloosa, AL and have their blessing to get to the mission field as soon as possible.

The only remaining obstacle is collecting the rest of our monthly financial support...and we are SO close

To complete our funding we need 40 people that will pledge $50 per month.

(Of course, no pledge is too small and if you are able to pledge more than $50 per month we will rejoice in that too.)

Hopefully you have received the mission information and donation materials in the mail over the past few months. If you have not or have misplaced it, we are happy to provide you with anything that will be helpful. We have attached to this email a copy of our support request letter. Just mail in the bottom portion of that letter with any contribution to designate the specifics of your support.
