4/18/10 Prayer Requests and Announcements
REQUESTS:
Poverty Plunge--Friday night around 20 teens and adults will participate in Poverty Plunge which will simulate living in poverty. Please keep us in your prayers!
Karen Shaw--will be having surgery on May 4th for breast cancer.
Debbie DeBerry--received bad news regarding her cancer; she has 2 boys and no other family to take over for her when things get bad. Please pray for God to raise up someone to help care for her boys and for her to have peace.
Marriages and Families--Please pray for Satan to stay away from our marriages and families!!
Lisa Hickman--Lisa is feeling much better; please continue to remember her as she will be having more tests next week.
Sharon Cannon and family--continue to remember Sharon and her family and her mom, Mrs. Strickland. Sharon has been in the hospital with pneumonia and fever.
Tracey Pruitt--lost her mom on Friday about a year after losing her husband.
Cindy Griffiths--has not been feeling well, had to have 2 units of blood transfused last week.
Andy & Lori Willis--remember Andy, Lori, their boys and others who are going to Honduras this summer to build 2 houses for families with handicapped children. If you would like to help in this work, please contact Andy @ 581-1704. They really need your support!

Sunday, April 25th--Summary of our class on 10 Commandments
High School Reach--Worship with the Raleigh Community Church (joining the group returning from Poverty Plunge)
Leave SV at 8:30 and return at 2:00; bring $3.00 for lunch.
Parents are welcome to join us!!

Lisa Hickman--Lisa is now home and doing better.
Karen Shaw--diagnosed with breast cancer; she will be having surgery on May 4th.
Allie Marlin--having surgery next Tuesday for facial reconstruction; jaw will be banded shut for 4-5 weeks. Please pray for the surgery to go well and a quick recovery.
Family of Ian Babb--Harding student who lost his life suddenly last week.
Drew Walker--Harding student who lost his dad suddenly.

April 4th Prayer Requests and Announcements
REQUESTS:
Karen Shaw and Family--Karen was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Please pray for her to make the right decision concerning her treatment and to have peace about it. Pray also for her girls, Rachel & Sarah, as they are very worried about their mom. Karen's MRI was changed to Monday, April 12th~
Joe Booth, Sr.--Joe's dad, as he recently had 2 stints placed in his heart and also found out that he has had several strokes over the last 2 years. He is being difficult regarding his living situation and Joe's brother can no longer keep him at his house. Please pray for them to know what to do. Pray also for our Joe as this is very hard for him.
Kim--friend of Jeff Hartman; is in an abusive marriage and needs help and guidance. Please pray for Jeff to have wisdom as he ministers to her.
Paul--46 year old employee of EMS who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pray for his family and also for Ben & Reggie as they minister to him.

HS Mission Trip to Chicago--deadline to register is Sunday, please have your kids contact Jim in writing if they are planning to go...by Facebook, email, or an actual note!
