2/21/10 Prayer Requests and Announcements

REQUESTS:

Travis Walls & family--Travis lost his job on Saturday, please pray that he will find another job quickly. Please also remember Christa Inmon, Rhonda Bird, and others who are also looking for jobs!!

Jenny Bizaillon--Continue to remember Jenny and her family, especially in these recent set backs. The family requests that you "knock down the doors of heaven".

Lawson Gamble--9 year old friend of the Chapmans, in LeBonheur (room 7415) with complications from appendectomy.

Joe Curtis--in St. Francis Bartlett, room 310. Would love visitors!

Alexander--5 mo. old friend of Toya Rockamore, has sickle cell disease and was admitted to the hospital again yesterday.

Joyce Bellamy--has a second job interview today, please pray that it goes well.

Bob Kennedy--Mark Hickman's boss; lots of pain from his cancer

Steve & Katie--friends of Shane & Regina; new baby was born septic and lived on 2 hours. Please pray for comfort for this family!

Myra Underwood--Brian's mom, please pray for her as she deals with the death of her husband.

38134--Remember to be praying for Release over 38134 this week.

Nancy Linville-- had Heart Bi-Pass surgery on Friday. She is in ICU Baptist East. According to Dave his mother is doing fine and surgery was excellent.

Mary Lykens and family-- Her brother-in-law took his own life tonight. He lived in Tate County ,Mississippi. His name was Christopher Lykens. He leaves behind 3 children and a wife.

Edited to add: Cindy Griffiths--Please remember her and her family as they travel to GA to be with her dad who is near the end of his life here.

MS Students are collecting new and gently used games for Caritas through out the month of February. Games can be placed in the MPAC. (Please be sure that used games have all pieces)

2/14/10 Prayer Requests and Announcements

REQUESTS:

Jenny Bizaillon--Josh's sister, please continue to pray for her complete healing. The doctors are wanting to amputate her feet ASAP. Please be praying for a miracle for her.

Underwood family--Please remember Brian and Niki at the loss of Brian's dad, David Underwood.

Ponder family--friends of the Birds, whose son is in some serious trouble at school.

Kenny Bird--sprained his MCL in his knee yesterday afternoon playing football. MRI scheduled for Tuesday.

Barton Spencer--procedure this morning to remove two tumors on his brain. Please pray for a successful surgery.

Alexander--5 month old friend of Toya, has sickle cell disease, and is presently in the hospital at LeBonheur.

Clair--Carrie Jackman's mother, in ICU at Baptist

Chuck McFall--Dawn's brother in law, pain from recent back surgery

Brannon Blake--16 year old who is recovering from open heart surgery

Sandy Massey--leukemia; needs bone marrow transplant

Family of nurse killed at Delta Medical Center.

Winterfest--please pray for good weather and safe travels for all heading to Gatlinburg this weekend.

Joan Cox--continue to remember Joan and Ken as Joan had a rough week last week.

Tom Alexander--Praise God for his new job!!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Middle Schoolers are collecting new and "gently used" games for Caritas. (If the games are used, please be sure they have all pieces included.) Games will be collected throughout the month of February and can be left in the MPAC.

REQUESTS:

Bill Dodd--Carolyn Jones' father; He will have a procedure on Wednesday to try and burn the tumor on his spine to stop it's growth. If the procedure doesn't work, the tumor will cause paralysis for him.

Debra Pound--This week is the one year anniversary of David's death. Please remember Debra this week!

Cindy Griffiths--had a port a cath put in on Friday. Please pray for her healing!

Joe Billodeau--father of Brian in Honduras, not doing well.

Christa Inmon and others who are looking for jobs

Lloyd--Chrisie Myer's uncle and also a friend of Christie's, both who are battling Cancer
