Boys and Girls Club "Kick Butt" Carnival
4:30-6:30; Lots of Volunteers needed!! They are expecting 100-150 kids to our campus.
Volunteers will help run games, serve popcorn, hotdogs, drinks, etc!
Thursday, March 25th--
Middle School Girls Bible Study
6:30-7:30; Home of Kayla Chapman; Have your girls bring their Bibles for a night of study and getting to know each other.
Sunday, March 28th--
PoTs class will NOT meet. Combined Classes in the auditorium on the Jewish Passover meal.
High School Reach Out
3:00-5:00; "Drive Thru Prayer" We will go to key areas of 38134 to pray over them.
Potluck and Community Vision Night
5:00-7:00; Potluck at 5:00 followed by a town hall style meeting to here from our ministers and shepherds about our vision for this community. Great time for any questions you may have. Invite any friends or family who may have questions about us.
Sunday, April 4th--
Annual Easter Chorus Performance
All adult classes will meet in the auditorium for the performance of the Easter chorus. At the conclusion of the performance, all adults will return to their Bible classes for a 30-40 minute class period. (Family factory will also be available for the children on that day.)

PRAISES!!
Natane Smith--daughter of Natasha Langford, was baptized on Sunday morning!
Casey Montgomery--daughter of Kelly & Tammi Montgomery; was also baptized Sunday morning!
REQUESTS:
Harry Johnson--surgery went well for his prostate cancer yesterday
Dan Shappard--knee replacement surgery today.
Johnny Sebers--cousin of John Billops; been given 3 months to live due to liver failure. Please pray for his soul and for Jesus to come into his life.
Joyce Myers--Kevins' mom; having an aortic stint put in this week. Also, for marriages in his family where Satan is attacking.
David--Carol's brother; please pray that he will be transferred to Memphis. He is raising his daughters alone and this move would put him closer to family support and Christian influences.
Lisa Hickman--been experiencing naseau, fever, and not feeling well for the last couple of weeks. Please pray for her and Mark as they consult with liver specialists and for Lisa's health to improve.
Karen--LeAn's friend; something was found on her mammogram. Please pray for results to be positive. Also, pray for LeAn as she ministers to her.
D--Toya's son; gets results from his MRI and other tests today. Please also remember Toya's Mom. She has been sick over the past couple of weeks and not really getting better.
38134--Please remember to pray the Fruit of the Spirit over these families.

Mary Reardon--friend of Carol Gardners, markers went down with her cancer treatment, please pray she continues to improve.
"D"--Toya's son, had a seizure last week, will be having an EEG and a MRI over the next couple of weeks, please pray for answers and good results
Visitor to SV--who was here for a couple of songs then left
Sarah Mansfield--heart surgery coming up next week (5th grader); also her grandmother has bone cancer and has been given very short time span
Todd Chambers--home with pneumonia
Trey Chambers--on a trip with ROTC
Pat Billops--recuperating from shoulder surgery; currently staying with John & Sandra

2/28/10 Prayer Requests and Announcements
REQUESTS:
Sarah Mansfield--5th grade friend of the Birds; has Wolfe Parkinson White Heart disease and will be having surgery on March 18th. Please remember her family as they are dealing with many issues right now... Grandmother diagnosed with cancer; both parents have heart disease.
Cindy Griffiths & Family--Pray for comfort as Cindy's dad died yesterday.
Drew Alexander--Leaving this week for Chile. Please pray for his safety and for him to be a blessing to all around him.
Christa Inmon--Please pray that God will provide her with a job very soon.
Denise--resident of the SV Agape FIT home; baby was born early and with heart problems. The baby is at LeBonheur and will be having surgery.
Janet Deforrest--prayers of comfort as she lost her husband this past week.
Steve & Katie Parks--friends of the Walkers who lost their baby recently
Derick Demmery--employee of Shane Walker; his brother and father are in separate hospitals in TX with major heart problems. Please pray for him to have wisdom and strength to know what to do and where he needs to be.
Pat Billops--John's mom, having rotator cuff surgery in Jackson this week and then will be staying with John & Sandra for about a week while she recovers.
Tommy McKinnie--this wasn't mentioned in class, but John McKinnie's dad is having a triple by-pass today. After this surgery, he will also need surgery for an abdominal anuerysm (sp?). He is at Baptist on Walnut Grove.
