Updates for 1/18/09

Hello everyone! Since we didn't have class yesterday, I only have a couple of prayer requests for this week...

Stoney Ramsey--keep Stoney in your prayers. He will be in the hospital for a few more days. He is doing really well!! Remember LeAn and the girls as well.

Cody Johnson--my nephew; he is going through alot right now. He just found out that he is going to be a dad and in the same week one of his best friends committed suicide. Cody doesn't believe in God..he doesn't believe that Jesus ever lived. So this makes it really hard to tell him that there is a God who loves him so much.

Stoney Ramsey

Stoney had urgent surgery Tuesday night for a ruptured appendix (so much for the kidney stone). He was in good hands, did well, but the peritonitis that had developed was a huge and serious deal. He will need some recovery time, plus will undergo some massive IV antibiotic therapy to defeat the infection that had developed.
Please pray for him and family, and if a food chain for LeAn and the girls, plus transportation assistance as needed for them could be worked on--that would be a blessing, I'm sure.
He is in Baptist Memphis, 5th floor, but maybe check with LeAn before just overwhelming him with company. The first 2-days will be needed for some quality recovery and rest time.
