7/12/09 Prayer Requests

****Marie Marlin & family***--Marie's dad, James Bobbit, passed away this morning as the result of a head injury from a fall. Please pray for God's comfort over this family!!Funeral arrangements: Visitation Thursday evening 6 - 9 at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar; Funeral Friday, 1PM at Forest Hill Church of Christ.

****Tim Roberts Family***--please remember Tim's family as he died suddenly this morning of an apparent heart attack. Please remember Jennifer Boring as Tim was her brother. Celebration Memorial: Thursday evening at 7PM at Grace Crossing in Collierville.

Kayla Chapman--doing very well from her fall last Friday.

Cooper Johnson--My great-nephew is doing really well. Should be able to come home very soon.

Chad Chapman, Jr--left Tuesday for the Army. Please keep him in your prayers.

Freeman Force--recovering from vocal cord surgery

Patrick Faulkner--14 year old, diagnosed with Chrone's disease.

Tommy Griffiths--in Mexico, returning on Friday

Bonnie Grumme--retired principal from Ellendale, in ICU with bacterial meningitus

LeAn Ramsey--continue to remember LeAn as she recovers from her surgery

Kenneth Ramsey--got a very good report from his scans; cancer spots have all decreased. Please continue to pray for his healing.

David Shockley--got a good report from his recent tests. Drs. say the stomach cancer is "greatly reduced" He will be having surgery soon.

Scott Podleski--Carol's friend, update from Carol: He is doing much better. He will have an angiogram on Thursday to implant a radioactive bead into his liver. If all goes well, he will have the full procedure.

Kim Chapman--everything went very well with giving notice at my job. My bosses are both very supportive and are even looking at ways for me to work from home!

Jim Hinkle & family--as they are traveling for the next couple of weeks on vacation.
